Pearl Scheltema, CEO of Fitzanne Estates, carries a wealth of knowledge about the property world. With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, there is not much Pearl hasn’t seen when it comes to managing properties.

Having studied languages and education, Pearl quickly realised that her true passion was working to find the ideal homes and investments for her clients.  More than three decades in one of the most dynamic professional fields has earned Pearl a lifetime of wisdom, tips, and relatable bits of advice. Offering guidance on all aspects of the Sectional Title Schemes Management Act, Pearl knows what it takes to make a client’s property portfolio profitable and sustainable and built Fitzanne Estates to where it is today.

A good leader not only inspires her team; she also inspires the world. Learning what it takes to be a great leader is a process that requires courage—the courage to realize other people’s potential and want them to have personal success in life as much as you want success in your own life. Pearl provides guidance and support to a staff complement which is 100% female.

Her calling for educating shines through in her daily interactions with the wide range of clients Scheme Executives and investors in her portfolio. Whether it’s helping to mediate rental disputes or finding the ideal tenant and making sense of regulations, Pearl takes her client’s needs to heart and works to find practical solutions. She’s also the facilitator of the Fitzanne Estates Scheme Executive Training course, where she uses practical knowledge and years of experience to empower Sectional Title Scheme Executives.

Pearl’s love of learning is further exemplified by her own dedication to staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field. As a registered member of both the PPRA and NAMA, she has also completed several short courses in the fields of personal development and professional excellence.
